About the Game Beneath the underground city of Fathomholm, the stones are alive. Inherit the declining Vermilion House and work as a lapidary in a Victorian world of strange minerals, forgotten memories, and abyssal horrors. Appraise raw ore, cut precise facets, and craft exquisite jewelry while uncovering the secrets buried deep beneath the city. Some stones are worth a fortune. Others stare back. Master the Craft Examine rough minerals, remove impurities, carve intricate facets, and transform raw ore into precious gemstones. Every mineral behaves differently. Every cut matters. Craft for the Stranger Set polished gems into jewelleries for the mysterious citizens of Fathomholm. The higher your reputation climbs, the stranger your clients become. Touch the Abyss Certain minerals should never have been unearthed. Crimson veins pulse beneath the stone. Impossible flowers bloom from solid rock. Some ores seem to breathe beneath your tools. The longer you work, the sharper your perception grows. And with it, so do the hallucinations. Shapes begin appearing inside the stone. Whispers echo through empty rooms. Something waits within the dark. Explore the Vermilion House Hidden passages, sealed chambers, forgotten ledgers, and a room that beats like a living heart... Piece together the truth behind the Vermilion House and the crime buried within its walls. The deeper you carve, the more the abyss reveals.
