Bob's Crystals

A robot. A signal. A planet at risk. Centuries after the alien technology that once protected Earth was forgotten, a deadly solar storm looms on the horizon. When a faint signal reactivates a long-dormant defense system, only one machine responds. Meet BOB — a self-aware, surprisingly snarky robot with a mission: recover scattered crystals and reactivate ancient planetary defenses before it’s too late. 💠 Tile-Based Platforming Navigate conveyor belts, fire zones, ice paths, and breakable floors in fast-paced, precision-focused levels. 🧠 Puzzle Logic Meets Action Master teleporters, quicksand, and shifting conveyor patterns to outsmart every challenge — sometimes with brains, sometimes with quick feet. 🛡 Crystal Defense Mode Defend the marker crystal against alien systems until it locks down. Dodge, weave, and survive in a hybrid between tower defense and arcade chaos. 🎙 Dual-Narrative System Uncover Bob’s journey through: – A male narrator who delivers atmospheric worldbuilding – A female AI voice — Bob’s sarcastic consciousness — who offers hints, commentary, and comic timing ⚡ Marker Crystal Progression Discover hidden components that enhance marker crystals and unlock new gameplay elements as you explore deeper into ancient systems. 🧱 Fully Integrated Level Editor Use the same tools used to create the campaign. Build your own levels, play community creations, and share your best work — all from within the game. 🎶 Dynamic Electro Soundtrack Experience a soundtrack that fuses retro chaos with modern pulse — synth-heavy, adaptive music that responds to your gameplay and changes with each level. 📈 Built with the Community, by a Solo Developer Bob’s Crystals is being developed by a solo dev — yep, just one person handling the design, code, art, writing, and way too many cups of coffee. Early Access is an important step to gather feedback and keep the game growing in the right direction. Development is ongoing, and areas currently being explored include: Expanding the number and variety of levels Introducing new puzzle mechanics to deepen gameplay Iterating on the Marker Crystal Defense mode with potential new enemies and upgrade ideas Adding more voice lines and narrative moments Improving visuals, performance, and overall balance There’s no fixed roadmap or guaranteed features — just a continued effort to improve and expand the experience with input from the community.
