C4: Classical Caliber Combat Contest

Online Disclaimer Classical Caliber Combat Contest has been developed with a client-authoritative network model. This means user inputs are instantly responsive and the experience will be smoother when players would normally experience issues with latency or lag. This decision was made by the Secret Handshake team after weighing multiple tradeoffs, choosing to prioritize game feel and groups of friends playing together over strict game security measures unfeasible for a small team. Given that C4 is client-authoritative and contains public matchmaking options, Secret Handshake has taken steps to secure the online experience. This includes implementing community-driven moderation tools that integrate with both Quickplay and the Server Browser. It is our intention to be honest about the challenges of publishing an online multiplayer game, and continue to provide solutions to these issues. Secret Handshake Interactive is brought to you by players like you. Thank you.
