Candellum

Candellum is a top down hack-and-slash where fire is everything. Trapped in a dormant wax factory crawling with hostile candle warriors, you must fight, think, and burn your way to the truth lurking in its darkest depths. In this world, fire means life. And life means death. You are a candle. A warrior. And you are always on the verge of melting away. Your candle can be lit , hitting harder, burning brighter, but draining your wax with every second. Or unlit , preserving what's left of you, at the cost of your power. Neither state is safe. Neither can be ignored. The twist? You throw your flame to switch states, and wherever it lands, it lands on an enemy. Ignite a foe to weaken them. Pull your flame back to slow your own decay. Every decision ripples across the battlefield. Key Features MASTER THE FLAME THROW SYSTEM. Toggle between Lit and Unlit modes by throwing your flame mid-combat. Your enemies, fellow candle warriors, operate the same way. Learn to exploit their states before they exploit yours. STEAL WAX TO SURVIVE. Health doesn't regenerate on its own. Rip wax from defeated enemies to keep your candle burning. SLASH, THINK, REPEAT. Intense hack-and-slash combat meets environmental puzzles. Pure aggression will only get you so far sometimes you need to stop and think before you burn. EXPLORE A FORSAKEN FACTORY. Navigate the dark corridors of a dormant wax factory, uncovering the grim secrets buried within its walls. Not everything that's dormant stays that way. FACE DIVERSE THREATS. From nimble candle scouts to hulking wax brutes, each enemy type demands a different approach. Adapt or melt. CONFRONT THE FINAL BOSS. One last, formidable threat guards the factory's darkest secret. It knows fire too, perhaps better than you do. Candellum is an award-winning student game, recognized with multiple prizes for its innovative dual-state gameplay and atmospheric design.
