Cat Detective Albert Wilde will be discussed by Maria, Andreas, and Jackson as we dive into the technical and creative elements of the game. About the Game Cat Detective Albert Wilde is a 1930s noir-inspired detective game with humanoid animal characters. How does Albert Wilde solve the strangest quantum mystery in a murder case? Find out in this 6-7 hours silly and hilarious classic detective adventure tribute to the golden age of noir movies Use your years of experience of interrogating and drinking at bars to chat with locals to solve a mystery. Rely on your cat-charisma to find the truth. Meet a cast of 27 interesting characters like a pole-dancing flamingo, a piggy lawyer, a pissed-off moose bookie, an out-of-tune sheep singer, a FAMOUS SCIENTIST and the dangerous crocodile gang. Albert Wilde is down on his luck. He’s broke, he’s friendless, he can’t get a girl, and his landlord won’t let him pee on the office wall anymore. Q & A Is the game a combination of different genres? Yes, it’s hard to define Cat Detective Albert Wilde by a single genre, as we tend to blend multiple elements in our projects. This game is a fusion of comedy, film noir, detective mystery, science fiction, and narrative. Can you describe the genre from a technical perspective? From a technical perspective, you could describe it as something between a walking simulator and an interactive novel, with a strong emphasis on comedy. Is this game a kind of ‘whodunnit’ murder mystery game? It’s less of a typical "whodunnit" and more of an origin story—showing how Albert Wilde evolves from a Private Investigator (P.I.) to a Quantum Private Investigator.
