Dear Journey...

Welcome to Dear Journey…, a wholesome strategy game about planning journeys that resonate with wandering travellers. Each day begins at your little travel agency, where letters arrive from travellers seeking help to plan their journey—or returning with stories of where they’ve been after following your guidance. Some bring rewards, keepsakes, or new tools for your growing archive of cards. Others arrive with requests, moods, and hopes that only you can weave into a satisfying itinerary. 🧭 Daily Rhythm Open the Agency : Review letters from past journeys, collect keepsakes, and unlock new cards. Traveller Requests: Requests from travellers arrive in the mail Pinboard Prep : Equip agency cards on the pinboard to unlock agency bonuses and upgrades. Keepsakes: Unlocked keepsakes can be melded to cards in your decks to unlock further abilities. Build your pocket card deck : Build a toolkit of your most special and useful cards to help you with day to day travel planning. Plan Itineraries : Build hands of activity, location, and special cards to satisfy traveller needs. Watch Journeys Unfold : See your plans play out on beautiful maps, with outcomes directly affecting the reputation of your growing travel agency. 🎭 Travellers & Moods Meet many types of travellers. Each traveller arrives with shifting moods—Excited, Lonely, Burnt‑Out, Dreamy—that change their specific needs and satisfaction thresholds. Traveller quirks, moods, and needs alter the way they must be satisfied every time 🎁 Rewards & Progression Reputation Gauge : Fills with traveller satisfaction, decays with partial fulfilment. Milestones grant rewards of varying rarities. Keepsakes : Souvenirs gifted by satisfied travellers carry both sentimental and mechanical effects. Zone Unlocks : Progress through Polar cliffs, Highland monasteries, Deserts, Riverland ruins, Coastal towns, Urban crossroads, and Lowland train routes. 📌 The Pinboard Unlocked agency cards equipped on the pinboard unlock and enhance Agency features and abilities.
