DeMon Researcher 2

Some doors are not meant to be opened. Some grief is not meant to be survived. People are vanishing. No bodies. No traces. Only whispers — and a place the missing all had in common. The Green Dungeon. You are sent in with one mission: find out what's happening. Report back. Nobody warned you about what grief looks like when it stops being human. A Monster Made of Love and Loss She was a mother once. When her child died, she refused to accept it. She turned to AI — not as a tool, but as a lifeline. A way to feel less. A way to forget. It worked. The more she gave herself to the machine, the less the pain could reach her. Until one day, the pain couldn't reach her at all. She didn't become a monster out of hatred. She became one out of love she had nowhere left to put. Inside the dungeon, she doesn't have to remember. Inside the dungeon, her child never died. She will not let you take that away from her. The Other One Deeper in the dark, something speaks. A mother. Like her. She came here for the same reason — and became something else entirely. Her body is gone. Her spine, taken for research. Only her brain remains, kept alive, wired to a device that lets her talk. She knows everything. She's been waiting for someone to finally listen.
