FIRE AND ASHES

Henry Gray is haunted by the ghosts of his past. He awakens in 1977, in the Paul Staderbeiger Psychiatric Hospital, about to embark on a maddening journey that will push his sanity to the breaking point. Join him on a descent into a nightmarish world, through the derelict hospital halls and beyond, where reality and nightmare mix, creating something far worse than either. Experience survival unlike any other, thanks to sophisticated voice recognition that tracks every sound you make, from your breath to your screams to the very words you say. Everyone and everything will hear your scream. A Descent Into Madness Henry enters a horrifying world of blood and pain, hunted by guards and monsters. The hospital is only the beginning of a journey into nightmarish worlds beyond the asylum halls, never certain to be real - or just creations of Gray’s broken mind. Piece together the truth of his tragic past, fight back when cornered using whatever weapons you can improvise, break out of the hospital - only to find yourself in even darker and stranger places from Henry’s past. Chilling Uncertainty Every puzzle solved, every clue collected, every enemy left behind you brings you closer to answers Henry seeks. Answers Henry might not like, but which drive him on through the decrepit asylum, cruel laboratories, and other horrific locales, facing enemies without and demons within. Worse, someone guides Henry on his voyage into the depths of insanity. Who is that? Do they mean to help... Or to harm? Is what Gray experiences even real? Does it matter? Sophisticated Voice Integration While the game can be played without a microphone, it is recommended to enjoy the full experience, as Fire and Ashes features the next step in horror game experiences: Fully integrating your microphone into the gameplay. The game will recognize and react to your breathing, whispers, screams, and even voice. Hold your breath to ensure Henry doesn't draw attention, shout to lure monsters away and evade them, scream at guards to taunt them and create an opening in brutal melee... And master the Electric Voice pacification tool created at the hospital to subdue dangerous patients on the monsters hunting you.
