Hardware Tycoon

Take the helm of your own technology company in Hardware Tycoon. Start your journey in 1986 and lead your enterprise through four decades of innovation to 2026. This game is about shaping the future of computing. Design the brains of tomorrow's devices, outsmart ruthless competitors, and build a legacy that lasts. 🧠 Design Custom CPUs Dive deep into the heart of silicon. Decide on core counts, clock speeds, cache sizes, and thermals. Balance raw performance against power efficiency and cost to create the perfect processor for every market segment. Every design choice impacts benchmarks, reviews, and your bottom line. 🏭 Run Your Own Fabs — or Someone Else's Own the means of production. Build and operate fabrication plants to manufacture your chips. But survival comes first: produce CPUs under contract for rival companies to keep revenue flowing. It's a double-edged sword — you stay afloat, but you're fueling the competition. 🔬 Research & Strategy Invest your cash into risky, era-defining research projects. Unlock new manufacturing nodes, pioneering architectures, and essential technologies. Will you play it safe with incremental upgrades, or bet the company on a revolutionary new design that could change everything? 👥 Manage Your People Your team is your true asset. Hire brilliant engineers and sharp managers. Train them, pay them, and keep them satisfied, or watch competitors poach your best talent. A neglected workforce won't build you a market leader. 🏢 Build Your Physical Empire Start in a modest office and grow it into a global high-tech campus. Buy, lease, or sell properties. Construct R&D labs and executive suites. Your real estate decisions directly impact employee morale, productivity, and your company's prestige. 📊 Dominate the Market The competition never sleeps. Track market trends, analyze rival products, and time your releases perfectly. Will you undercut them on price, or crush them with superior performance? Compete for market share across decades of technological revolution. Key Features Historical Tech Journey: Start in 1986 and progress through real-world tech eras to 2026.
