[Co-creation] If your name appeared in a game, what would you want it to look like? Would you want your name to be forever engraved in the game world? Most games just put a long list of names in a "Special Thanks" section, or use them as generic NPC or item names. Honestly, that’s a bit boring, isn't it? So, I came up with something cooler. In Key Come , I’ve created — 「Cyber Echoes」 . Anyone who plays the Demo before the official release can participate! I’ve added a [Cyber Echoes] portal in the game. Once unlocked, you can enter your [Display Name], [Typing Word], [Message], and choose a "Buff Effect" to assist future companions who encounter your "Echo." Feel free to let your imagination run wild! Be heartwarming, be cool, or just be a meme lord. But please, no sensitive words or harassment—our system will filter them out. Currently, there are 5 pre-set buff effects: Cyber Medkit : +100 HP upon completion. Energy Donation : +80 Energy upon completion. Shield Blessing : +80 Shield for 4s upon completion. Combat Ignition : +50% Damage for 3s upon completion. Score Crit : Double score for this entry (Max +200). There is also a [Cyber Lottery] which triggers one of the above effects at random. If you have better ideas for buffs, leave a comment or submit a suggestion in-game. Your idea might just be in the next update! [Notes] "Echoes" are tied to your Steam ID. One entry per ID, no modifications. Submit wisely! [Display Name] and [Typing Word] can be your name, Pinyin, or anything else. Your Steam name will also be automatically displayed when others encounter your Echo. How to unlock? If the button is grayed out, meet one of these conditions in the Demo: Level 1 [Cyber Nomad] : Accumulate 100 correct words in Endless Mode OR clear 5 Training Levels. Level 2 [Frontier Pioneer] : Reach a 50x Max Combo in a single Endless Mode run. Level 3 [Founding Father] : Clear 10 waves in Demo OR reach a 99x Max Combo in Endless Mode. Unlocked levels will grant exclusive achievements and special word effects in the full version! No need to wait for Level 3; your entry will auto-update as you progress. About the Game "If Heaven did not produce the Keyboard Warrior, the path of typing would be as an eternal night! Key, Come!" 💡 The Origin: A Story of "Self-Rescue" and Love The birth of KeyFortress was not a calculated move, but an accidental "self-rescue." One day, my partner complained to me: "I don't know how to type properly. I have to look at the keys one by one. It's so slow and exhausting." I looked at my own hands—long-term "hunt and peck" typing as a developer had led to the early signs of Tenosynovitis (Carpal Tunnel). I realized that despite my speed, I had never truly "learned" the keyboard. Existing practice software was too boring. So I thought: Why not make a scientific, progressive, and truly "fun" typing game? ⌨️ Scientific "Muscle Memory" Training This isn't just mindless tapping. In KeyFortress , we have: Virtual Hand Guidance: Real-time display of finger zones on screen, color-coded for each finger. Posture as Power: Typing with the correct fingers triggers unique BUFFs , turning proper form into your source of firepower. Progressive Levels: From index finger positioning to full blind typing, reshape your finger logic step by step. 🛡️ Core Gameplay: Data Fortress Defense (Typing Roguelike) More than a trainer, this is a hardcore Action Roguelike . 6 Unique Main Weapons: From sniper-like precision to screen-clearing lasers, every weapon has a distinct typing rhythm. 100+ Upgrade Cards: Build your defense style. Will you chase extreme attack speed or stack explosive damage? Two Protocol Modes: Standard Mode: Upgrades pause the game, perfect for beginners to adjust their rhythm. Hardcore Protocol: The battle never stops! All upgrades are settled at the end of the wave for players seeking ultimate "flow." 📚 Armed to the Teeth with "Learning" Here, your words are your bullets. Massive Built-in Word Banks: From school exams to TOEFL/IELTS/GRE. We even have a Coder-Exclusive word bank ! 11 Language Support: Every word has translations. Theoretically, you can learn any major language. Cyber "Blind Typing" Mode: Hide the words and type based entirely on Audio Pronunciation and Translation Hints . The ultimate way to master muscle memory. Custom Import: Studying a specific book? Paste it in and turn it into your battlefield. ⚙️ Meta-Progression & Collection Outside of battle, there is vast room for growth: Armory & Gear: Customize your initial loadout. R&D Center: Unlock powerful gear to make your "Aegis" system indestructible. ✉️ An Invitation from the Developer If you want to fix your typing posture but hate boring software; if you want to memorize words in your spare time but crave intense action—please try the Demo . I’ve placed Feedback Buttons throughout the game. Every complaint or suggestion will be pushed directly to my phone. Let’s rewrite the logic of your fingertips together. ---------------- New innovative gameplay: Typing + Roguelike + Slot Machine card strategy mode! Stay tuned!
