Humans have used the oceans as a garbage dump for too long. Meerlinda is a DIY go-getter so she decides to fix the problem. She embarks on a mission to clean it all up! Gentle Breeze to the Rescue! Meerlinda’s ship Gentle Breeze combines Atlantean shipbuilding traditions with their latest technology. It is propelled by sails and powered by solar energy. Clean It All Up! To collect trash move your mouse pointer over it. It is automatically recycled into useful materials like plastic or cellulose. There are already millions of tons of trash in the oceans and millions more are added every year. The size of the trash varies from microscopic to whole ships abandoned to the ocean bottom. Most of the trash is plastic, but any material produced can end up there. Unfortunately cleaning up the oceans is not easy in real life. The best way to tackle the problem is to reduce the amount of trash that ends up in the ocean. What Can I Do?
