Does an alien with a suitcase full of Acid Lemons truly deserve a second chance? The year is 2187. Humanity has not only reached the stars but has also managed to establish a vast interplanetary bureaucracy. Welcome to a universe governed by baggage regulations, customs forms, and red tape that no known lifeform completely understands. You begin your career as a rookie inspector at the border checkpoint of space station GSA-42 . Every single day, travelers from the furthest corners of the galaxy cross through your booth: elegant interstellar diplomats, exhausted station laborers, shady independent couriers, touring recreational androids, fluffy beasts hauling massive trunks, and bizarre entities whose anatomy was definitely never taken into account by official GSA paperwork. Your objective sounds perfectly straightforward: examine papers, inspect luggage, and decide who gets granted entry. In practice, nothing is ever that simple. 📋 Working the Frontier of Space Every traveler presents a passport featuring their photograph, full name, species, homeworld, expiration date, and the official GSA validation stamp. While the early days only require verifying basic information, the complexity escalates drastically. New rules, emergency protocols, and supplementary credentials pile up by the hour. Does the traveler’s face actually match their biometric photograph? Is the passport still valid, or did it expire standard-months ago? Is that mandatory entry stamp authentic or a cheap forgery? Does a laborer from planet Zarkon possess a registered galactic work permit? And why exactly is that friendly space-octopus's baggage emitting hazardous radiation levels? Every stamp you apply can be a flawless victory, a reckless mistake, or a devastatingly expensive fine. ⚠️ Rules Change Every Single Morning The Inspector’s Manual is your absolute lifeline. You don't need to commit dozens of complex galactic articles to memory all at once, but you must remain sharp and react instantly to daily station briefings. One day, the Blorgon species is suddenly placed under strict medical quarantine. The next day, the maximum allowable baggage weight drops down to 20 kilograms due to a catastrophic conveyor belt failure in Sector 7. Soon after, transit tickets to specific dock gates are completely invalidated because the GSA high commission is running unannounced emergency drills. And by the following morning, a sudden directive reminds you that importing Acid Lemons from planet Xlorp remains strictly illegal. Nobody wants to spend their weekend scrubbing the station's life-support ventilation filters again. 🔍 Luggage Inspections & X-Ray Scanner Surface appearances are deeply deceptive in deep space. Travelers' bags carry a declared weight, a stated list of contents, and unique sensor signatures. If a suitcase triggers your suspicion, spin up the X-Ray Scanner . After a brief scan, the monitor will expose whatever is hidden beneath the lining: Illicit galactic spices and illegal military laser pistols, Banned Acid Lemons and highly unstable energy canisters, Unidentified biological eggs, or just a completely harmless vacation souvenir. Simply turning away a shady traveler won't always suffice. If you expose explicit contraband without a special permit, hit the big red Arrest button. Just remember: the scanner is official GSA property. It would be a true miracle if it worked flawlessly without breaking down. 💰 Earn Credits and Survive the Next Shift Each checkpoint shift lasts a maximum of three tense minutes, though you can clock out early if you've met your daily quota. Flawless documentation earns you Credits , while oversight and incorrect stamps trigger harsh institutional penalties and automated system reprimands. Once your shift wraps up, you head back to your cramped, depressing living quarters on the station. That is when the second half of the game begins: managing your fragile budget . You must choose exactly how to allocate your hard-earned Credits: Oxygen Supply: Skipping this shortens your next shift due to respiratory fatigue. Station Rent & Rations: Vital for keeping your baseline stress levels low. Scanner Maintenance: A neglected X-Ray runs agonizingly slow and malfunctions. Synthetic Coffee: The only thing keeping your focus and observation sharp. Luggage Explosion Insurance: Sounds entirely unnecessary... right up until someone places a highly volatile, humming container onto your workspace counter. 🚀 Key Features: Interstellar Bureaucracy: Cross-examine complex paperwork, verify cryptographic stamps, and dynamically adapt to chaotic rule updates. Advanced Customs Tech: Master the weight scales and the X-Ray monitor to pinpoint concealed contraband. Survival Resource Management: Spend your paycheck wisely on life-support, equipment maintenance, and small creature comforts. GSA Career Ladder: Level up from an unpaid intern to a high-clearance Senior Inspector, unlocking more demanding documents and travel items. Branching Moral Dilemmas: Encounter persistent characters. Will you stand by strict company policy, follow your conscience, or seek financial safety? Xenological Catalog: Discover, scan, and collect records on dozens of alien species native to the Milky Way.
