Packet Plague

THE SECURITY STACK THINKS IT HAS CONTAINED YOU. IT HAS NOT. Packet Plague is a fast, build-driven survivors-like set inside a hostile corporate network. You are living malware loose in the system: move manually, auto-deploy payloads, harvest leaked credentials, draft mutations, evolve exploits, and survive escalating security pressure until the network breaks under you. Every run starts fragile. Every level asks you to choose a new advantage. Every death feeds permanent progression. The deeper you breach, the more the screen becomes a readable storm of payloads, enemies, bosses, elite threats, XP, and evolving malware logic. DRAFT, STACK, AND EVOLVE YOUR PAYLOADS Build a malicious arsenal from 22 payload weapons across beams, orbitals, summons, mines, missiles, auras, chain attacks, and more. Level them during each run, pair them with compatible passives, and evolve them into stronger exploit chains that visibly change how your build fights. 22 payload weapons with distinct runtime behavior. Primary and alternate evolution paths. 18 passive upgrades that shape damage, cooldowns, movement, defense, sustain, and area control. Independent draft choices so every run grows differently. BREAK PHASED SECURITY BOSSES Security does not just send swarms. Five major bosses enter the run with readable telegraphs, escalating phases, and authored rewards. If you fall behind, multiple bosses can overlap, turning survival into a desperate priority fight where every health bar still matters. Five phased boss encounters. Boss warnings, phase banners, telegraphs, and multi-boss health tracking. Elite threats and encounter pressure that escalate alongside the run. BREACH SIX HOSTILE NETWORK SECTORS Every sector changes the shape of the breach. Server rooms, data centers, firewall mazes, cloud clusters, corrupted archives, and other hostile network spaces alter route pressure, hazards, enemy behavior, and build priorities. Six sectors with distinct layout identity and pressure. Hazards, obstacles, elite modifiers, and sector-specific encounter rules. Readable visual language built for intense late-run combat. HOST OR JOIN ONLINE CO-OP BREACHES Run solo or host a Steam online co-op breach for up to four players. The party shares XP and wave progression, but each player receives independent draft choices and can grow into a different role: crowd control, boss damage, sustain, summons, or support. Solo play or online co-op for up to four players. Shared run pressure with individual builds. Steam lobby flow for hosting, joining, and inviting friends. If the host leaves, the shared run ends cleanly; host migration is not a launch feature. TURN FAILURE INTO PERMANENT ACCESS Every terminated run earns cache for long-term progression. Unlock malware processes, expand the Evolution Grid, open challenge protocols, pursue career milestones, and return to the network with a stronger plan. 8 playable malware characters. 47 permanent Evolution Grid nodes. Challenge protocols and weekly run variants. 70 long-term milestones. READ THE CHAOS Packet Plague is built around intense action with readable combat information: distinct hostile colors, boss warnings, health bars, phase banners, payload previews, responsive HUD scaling, large-text support, reduced flashing options, adjustable VFX intensity, and configurable screen shake.
