Paratopic: Overdub

Before the Backrooms ... before analog horror ... there were the tapes. Paratopic: Overdub revives the award-winning 2018 liminal horror classic: a twisting 3-in-1 remaster, remix, and sequel to the original. A first-person narrative horror game, now with improved textures and animations, new characters, and more secrets to discover. A surreal journey to the end of the night. Nothing is certain, nothing is true except for the narrative you piece together. Country drives. Longwinded clerks. Sightseeing. Solitaire. Murder. A cut-up travelogue through the skeleton of Americana—a land of motels, gas stations, late-night diners, and dead industry. From making numerous game-of-the-year lists and winning the 2019 Independent Game Festival excellence in audio award to influencing the retro horror boom, Paratopic is a landmark in independent horror games. Paratopic: Overdub takes you back. Rewind. Look closer. Keep watching
