Pixel Airport Tycoon 3D Plan, build and manage your very own airport – from your first small runway all the way to an international hub. Pixel Airport Tycoon 3D is the big evolution of the airport-building classic: experience your airport either in the classic top-down 2D view or in a full 3D world with a free-orbit camera, shadows and a day/night mood – switchable at any time with a single key. 2D & 3D – your airport, your perspective Switchable view – Toggle any time between the clear top-down 2D view and an immersive 3D world. Free 3D camera – Rotate, tilt and zoom freely around your site and watch operations from every angle. Real 3D models – Aircraft, buildings, vehicles, towers and trees as detailed 3D objects with dynamic lighting. Build your infrastructure Construct terminals, runways, taxiways and aprons. Lay underground fuel pipelines and baggage belts, power everything up and connect your site to the outside world with a road network. Over 40 building types – Terminals, runways, towers, fuel depots, service depots, hotels, parking garages, fire station, hospital, power plants and much more. 3 runway sizes – Small, medium and large runways for different aircraft classes, each configurable for arrivals, departures or both. 4 terminal tiers + interior design – From a simple terminal to a large hub. Place check-in desks, gates, security checkpoints, shops, duty-free, restaurants, lounges and restrooms inside. Free placement – Build on a large grid with rotation, relocate buildings later and buy new land to expand. Two airport types Commercial airport – Terminals, passengers, cargo and full infrastructure all the way to a major hub. Private propeller airfield – Small runways and private parking stands for propeller planes – the compact way in, with no terminal required. Flight operations & air traffic Different aircraft classes – Small, medium and large passenger aircraft plus private propeller planes, each with their own handling and runway-length requirements. Towers & air traffic controllers – Three tower sizes determine how many aircraft you can handle at once; hire controllers to keep traffic flowing. Arrivals & departures in real time – Track the landing queue and flight board as planes land, taxi to their stands, get serviced and take off again. Cargo, special freight & customs Build a complete cargo hub – far more than just cargo stands: Cargo terminals & stands for small and large freight aircraft. Special freight – Dedicated depots for refrigerated cargo, live animals, express freight and hazardous goods, each with their own vehicles and requirements. Customs handling – Build a customs office and process international cargo by the book. Cargo contracts – Sign deals with freight companies, build reputation and earn bonus payouts. Staff, vehicles & logistics An airport only runs with the right team and a well-drilled fleet. All vehicles navigate your service and road network intelligently. Staff system – Build a staff center and hire fuel operators, baggage and catering crews, ramp agents, cleaning and de-icing staff, technicians, customs officers, air traffic controllers and more. Plenty of service vehicles – Fuel trucks, baggage, catering, cleaning and wash vehicles, de-icing trucks, cargo haulers, customs vehicles and fire trucks. Fleet manager – Keep an eye on every vehicle's condition, repair them and research upgrades to electric ground vehicles. Weather & de-icing Dynamic weather – Snow, fog, storms and thunderstorms affect flight operations. De-icing – When it snows, every aircraft – passenger, private and cargo – must be de-iced before departure. Build de-icing depots, or operations grind to a halt. Weather station – Get forecasts and prepare for bad weather in time. Economy, airlines & finance Fuel in liters – Realistic fuel levels and consumption; fuel prices fluctuate randomly (roughly $4,000–$12,000) with no predictable trend. Many revenue streams – Landing and passenger fees, refueling, baggage, catering, cleaning, de-icing, maintenance, cargo, hotel, parking garages and terminal shops. Flexible pricing – Adjust nine fee types individually (50–200%) and find the balance between profit and traffic. Airline & cargo contracts – Negotiate with airlines and freight companies, meet their requirements and grow your reputation. Banking system – Take out loans to grow faster and pay them back with interest. Research & expansion Extensive research tree – Unlock new terminals, runways, towers, parking stands, cargo types, services, fuel upgrades, and economy and technology bonuses. Fleet upgrades – Increase the vehicle capacity of your depots across multiple tiers. Land purchase – Expand your site zone by zone into a sprawling international airport. Environment & energy Power grid – Supply your airport with power plants, solar panels and floodlight masts – no power, no operations. CO₂ balance – Keep an eye on your emissions, pay CO₂ tax or buy certificates. Sustainability – Research sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), solar energy, recycling and electric vehicles to shrink your footprint. Ratings, security & emergencies Passenger rating (6 stars) – Boost satisfaction with hotels, parking garages, catering, baggage handling, bus stops and more. Security rating (4 stars) – Secure your site with fencing, fire station, security building and windsock – only then can planes take off and land. Emergencies – Handle emergency landings with fire trucks and a hospital, and keep operations running safely. Atmosphere & comfort Day/night cycle – Enjoy atmospheric lighting including runway lights at night – automatic or set manually. Atmospheric music – 11 music tracks in rotation, plus a spoken welcome message. Clean HUD & help system – All key stats at a glance, a getting-started checklist, notifications and a detailed in-game guide. Comfortable controls – Mouse-wheel zoom, camera movement via WASD/arrow keys or screen edge, and right-click context menus. Saving, languages & options Multiple named save slots – Save and load as many airports as you like; save files can also be imported from disk. 7 languages – Fully playable in English, German, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Spanish and French. Four speeds – Pause, 1x, 2x and 4x for relaxed or fast-paced play. Adjustable options – Screen-edge scrolling, interface size, 3D graphics quality and notifications. Build your dream airport Whether it's a cozy propeller airfield or a massive international hub with cargo, customs and airline contracts – in Pixel Airport Tycoon 3D you set the pace. Plan smart, invest wisely and make your airport the best in the world!
