SURVEILLANCE DUTY: Twisted Sight

You have been assigned to a round-the-clock monitoring post. Your task is to watch the installed cameras and immediately log any anomalies: changes in the environment, image distortions, the appearance of unauthorized objects or entities. Every discrepancy must be recorded through the reporting interface. Ignoring deviations will allow them to accumulate and spiral out of control. Remember: you must not leave your post without permission. Doubts about the reality of what you observe do not free you from responsibility. You will not be alone. Dr. Amalia—your personal curator and overseer—will be watching your work. She will help you master the surveillance system, give recommendations, and remind you of what matters. You may notice visual distortions, signal dropouts, or interference on the screens. This is normal. Try not to lose focus. Some anomalies disguise themselves as technical malfunctions. If the image looks “wrong,” it needs to be logged. Do not attempt to adjust the equipment yourself. Stay at your station. Keep watching. Official reports do not explain what exactly happened. The recordings cut off abruptly, the signal vanished, and the operator never re-established contact. The room remains locked from the inside. No signs of struggle, no bodies. Now you are here. In front of the same screens. With the same task. Watch closely. Miss nothing. And try not to follow in their footsteps.
