The Long Drift

About This Game Explore the vast universe from your desktop. This is a desktop exploration game that runs quietly in a corner of your screen while you go about your day. Travel between planets, space stations, and resource zones, gathering materials and expanding your reach across the cosmos. Explore, build, and go beyond Discover new planets, harvest resources, and upgrade your equipment to build more advanced spacecraft. As technology evolves, break past the speed of light and encounter alien civilizations in deep space. Always on, never in the way Even when you’re idle, the universe keeps moving—ships travel, resources grow, and exploration continues. The game stays unobtrusive on your desktop while your journey unfolds in the background. Play your way Let the universe run entirely on its own, or step in whenever you want to make decisions and change your course. And when deep space starts to feel a little too quiet… take a break and enjoy a game of poker. A small pastime for long journeys between the stars.
