The Underground Press

The Underground Press is an atmospheric first-person psychological horror game where you step into the shoes of an ambitious journalist. In pursuit of a sensational scoop that could clear your name, you venture where entry is strictly forbidden — into the dark, abandoned, and isolated tunnels of the subway system. Official reports claim the stations were closed due to the threat of a ceiling collapse. But the truth, buried under layers of dust and months of silence, is far more terrifying. Will you uncover the truth and escape to the surface, or will you become just another nameless victim of the subterranean labyrinth? Key Features: Journalistic Investigation: Explore abandoned utility rooms, security posts, and quarantine zones. Search for scattered notes, secret management orders, and internal memos to reconstruct the chronology of events. Interactive Environment and Puzzles: The subway is dead, and to progress further, you’ll have to bring it back to life. Start up old backup generators, manage fuel levels, shut off deadly steam leaks, and look for clues to crack combination locks. Danger at Every Turn: You are not alone in these tunnels. Water touching exposed wires, thick clouds of toxic gas, and something lurking in the absolute darkness of Track No. 2 will make your every step a trial. Non-Linear Ending: The documents and mysterious ancient artifacts you gather hold weight. Will they be enough to serve as irrefutable evidence, or will the world dismiss your report as the ravings of a madman? The end of your career — and your life — depends entirely on you. "Stepan, don’t listen to what they say upstairs. We didn't find a crack in the wall—we found an entrance to somewhere we don't belong... If air starts coming from our way—it’s not air anymore."
