Black Zen White

Black Zen White is a 2D puzzle platformer where the world flips between two versions — black and white — each with different platforms, walls, and possibilities. Use your mind, your timing, and help from unusual creatures to solve puzzles, unlock time-bending abilities, and reach the exit. Every level is a moment of calm — and cleverness. Experience a contemplative, hand-drawn journey inspired by East Asian art. 100 levels for 10 to 12 hours of playtime 1 player and 2 players co-op modes (with or without a controller!) 11 hand-drawn landscapes (in 4K) in 3 different environments 4 time-bending powers to unlock and 9 different creatures to interact with Simple controls and realistic physics Lots of puzzles and a bit of timing Full controller and Steam Deck support A contemplative and relaxing atmosphere (most of the time) with a touch of silly humor Jump, wait, land. What exists in black may vanish in white... Play alone or with a friend in co-op mode on the same computer or online with Steam Remote Play Together. Both players can play locally on the same keyboard. Only one player needs to own the game to play online co-op. Push friendly seals into place. Stack them, slide them, or give them a nudge — sometimes they help... Walk through what’s solid… or wait for it to disappear. Zoom out, think through layers of shifting logic — black, then white, then black... Slow down. Speed up. Master time itself to reach what was once unreachable. There’s always a way — if you wait, watch, and move with purpose. Black Zen White invites you into a meditative world of duality, lighthearted logic, and surprising discoveries. 🖋️ Wishlist now and discover the power of stillness.
