Critical Chaos

Statera was already at war before the strange things started happening. An ambitious empire is pushing its borders through force and fear. Strange forces move in the shadows, things that do not answer to politics or power. And in the middle of it all is everything your squad is fighting to protect. You did not ask for this mission. But here you are. THE PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY Your squad is made up of veterans, misfits, and people bound by circumstance rather than destiny. They argue. They sacrifice. They carry weight that does not show on a status screen. Critical Chaos is a story about people under pressure in a world that is running out of time. THE WORLD Critical Chaos is bigger than the war. Imperial pressure reshapes cities and borders. Strange technology exists in places it should not. Time is not stable. The further you push, the more the world stops making the kind of sense you can fight your way out of. TURN-BASED COMBAT BUILT FOR PLAYERS WHO WANT REAL SYSTEMS Combat runs on a deep turn-based system with visible encounters, a turn order display, counters, taunt mechanics, and blocking. No random battles. Every fight you take, you see coming. BUILD YOUR SQUAD YOUR WAY Class changes and subclassing for your main characters give you real control over how they grow. Mix abilities across classes, invest in stat points and bonus skills for all characters, and build for the fight ahead. The system rewards experimentation and gives your choices lasting impact throughout the adventure. A STORY WITH CONSEQUENCES Multiple endings. Choices that accumulate across the full run. This is not a game that tidies itself up at the credits. EXPLORE A FRACTURING WORLD Vehicles. Hidden quests. A world that does not stop at the edges of the main path. The world itself provides what you need to survive, with ore to mine, crops to grow, fish to catch, and advantages to forge through a full ingredient-based crafting system for players who want to engage with it. Critical Chaos rewards players who push beyond the main path.
