Critter Quest

Welcome to Critter Quest! Bring back the golden era of handheld monster-taming RPGs, completely wrapped in a customizable virtual-pet-styled handheld interface. Whether you are actively exploring the tall grass or letting the game auto-battle in the background, your journey to become the Champion starts here. Your team is backed by the Steam Inventory. Every Grublet, Embercub, or Mythical beast you successfully capture is granted as a real Steam item. Build your dream team, store them in your Steam Cloud reserve, and trade them with friends across the platform! Key Features Catch 'Em All (Literally): Discover and capture up to 300 unique species ranging from Common bugs to Mythical dragons. Use strategic baits like Wet Berries or Ultra Berries to boost your capture rates. Steam Inventory Integration: Your captured critters, their individual IVs, and their exact levels are securely synced to your Steam Inventory. Trade your rarest catches with the global community! Classic Turn-Based Combat: Master 18 different elemental types (including Steel, Fairy, and Dark) in traditional turn-based battles. Exploit type weaknesses, manage your move PP, and overcome tricky status conditions. A Massive World to Explore: Journey through dense forests, volcanic ridges, and deep oceans. Complete quests, uncover hidden items, battle route NPCs, and conquer the 8 Chapter Bosses to unlock the Elite Hall of Masters. Unique Evolution Crafting: Got too many duplicate catches? Combine multiples of the same species in your reserve bench to evolve them into their powerful next-stage forms. Virtual Handheld Experience: Play entirely within a nostalgic, on-screen retro shell. Complete with a D-Pad, A/B buttons, and speaker grills. Unlock and swap out device skins like "Sunset Edition," "Midnight," or "Crystal Clear" to match your vibe. Idle / Auto-Battle Mode: Need to step away? Toggle the built-in Auto Mode, select an Auto-Battle Berry, and let your critters grind EXP and catch new team members while you work or relax. Power on, select your starter, and begin your Critter Quest today!
