Eyeball It: No Rulers Allowed

Two things stand side by side on a cream sheet, drawn at exactly the same height. That is the lie. Drag one of them until the proportion looks right to you, and confirm. The silhouette drives to the height it really has. The gap is almost always a surprise. NO RULERS ALLOWED No grid. No ground line. No shadow. No number anywhere on the sheet until you have committed. Both shapes are printed in the same single colour, because a warmer one would read as nearer - and nearer, in this game, is the answer. The camera pulls back as things grow and never tells you how far it still has to go. TIME IS THE SCORE Missing by a factor of two costs the same whether it is 2 against 4 or 5000 against 10000, and it costs the same in both directions. The bill lands while the silhouette is still moving, so the clock tells you roughly how badly you missed, a moment before you can read the answer. Zero on the timer ends the run. THE SAME DAY FOR EVERYONE DAILY deals one set of pairs to every player, once, and it is the same set worldwide. Everyone answers the same questions, so the number that separates you is the time you had left. The board carries a second column - how many of them you actually got right - because a fast time with nothing guessed is not a good day. 433 THINGS, AND WHAT THEY REALLY MEASURE A capybara, a fire hydrant, a Routemaster, Saturn V, Darth Vader, a LEGO minifigure. Every height is a published figure with its source printed under it on the reveal, and everything you have met goes onto a shelf in your collection with one fact attached. The collection never prints a height, though: an object on that shelf comes back as half of a pair, and a shelf of answers would be a table of them left lying next to the board. WHAT IS IN IT ENDLESS - play until the clock runs out. DAILY - the same set for everyone, one attempt, its own leaderboard. COLLECTION - 433 silhouettes on eight shelves, with sources and facts. 15 achievements and Steam leaderboards for the day and for endless. English and Ukrainian. No ads, no purchases, no second currency. One sheet, two shapes, and a number you will get wrong.
