In Between

Three stories. Important relationship conversations that we sometimes can't have at the right time. In Between is a pixel art visual novel anthology about relationships. About the conversations we sometimes put off, talk around, lose, or never even notice. Each of the three stories is a different way of experiencing the same theme: how much some conversations and some relationships matter, and how our words and our choices can change everything. IN BETWEEN STATIONS — the word never said Russel and Laila have known each other since they were teenagers. Twenty years of history between them. A great friendship, or... something more? The word was always there, but it was never said. There was never a good moment... But what if the chance to change everything came along? The chance to say everything that was left open? IN BETWEEN SEASONS — the word forgotten Tomás visits his grandmother Iolanda four times in a year, once per season, after finding out about her diagnosis, feeling he has been away for far too long. What he wouldn't give to hear every one of her words! It isn't that the word goes unsaid. Maybe it's drifting further away with every season, and he's the one who has to cross that distance now. IN BETWEEN GATES — the word in the gestures Nina is fourteen and has a horse nobody can ride. Cometa doesn't talk and never will. His bond with Nina is beyond explaining, and together they're unbeatable! Five years later, when his heart starts losing the beat, the only question that matters is the very one he can't answer. It's the quietest of the three stories, and the only one told in the present, by someone who doesn't yet know how it ends. FEATURES Three complete stories. Deep dialogue and minigames. Multiple endings. English and Brazilian Portuguese support.
