Plague Alchemist

Plague Alchemist is a story-driven pixel art RPG about alchemy, corruption, and quiet survival. You play an outcast doctor investigating a mysterious plague that leaves villagers trapped in unnatural sleep, following its trail to the world’s decaying leylines. There is no combat or death. This game is not an experience of intense combat, but rather discovery and progression. EXPLORE A LIVING WORLD Venture across forests, ruins, and corrupted lands that shift with time and weather. Gather herbs, minerals, and rare components hidden throughout the open world — each discovery moving you closer to uncovering the secret of this plague. MASTER THE ART OF ALCHEMY Craft potions, pastes, and elixirs through the recipe system designed for accessible progression — discover, refine, and brew what you need to progress trough the story. For those who seek true mastery, dive into the experimentation system : combine ingredients freely, one by one, to uncover hidden interactions, powerful reactions, and rare transmutations lost to time. Knowledge is your greatest weapon — only careful study and observation can reveal the most potent results. EXPAND YOUR CODEX Your Codex grows as you explore — documenting newly found ingredients, creatures, and environmental phenomena. Every page reveals new insight into the world’s ecosystems and the corruption spreading through them. SEAL THE LEYLINES Seven elemental dungeons — Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Body, Mind, and Spirit — each conceal a fragment of the corruption spreading through the land. The first dungeon, the Earth Portal , will be available at launch, with the remaining leylines opening through free content updates as the story unfolds. Every dungeon introduces new biomes, alchemical materials, and environmental puzzles requiring preparation and keen senses. A WORLD WORTH STUDYING With painterly pixel art and atmospheric music, Plague Alchemist offers a slow-burn, methodical RPG for players who value exploration, discovery, and the quiet satisfaction of mastery.
